Clinton National Bank Interesting Facts   *The day the Clinton Herald published the bank's Certificate of Authorization from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, was the same day the Herald released the story that President Abraham Lincoln had been assassinated.   *The bank first opened for business in a small building on the corner of 6th Avenue South and First Street. Soon more space was needed and the bank was relocated to the Corner of 6th Avenue South and 2nd Steet.
